In 2018 the Social Justice Commissioner June Oscar AO will travel across the country to speak with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and girls as part of the Wiyi Yani U Thangani ‘Women’s Voices’ project.
The project will build on the legacy of the landmark Women’s Business report from 1986, which was the first and last time national consultations were held with First Nations women.
During our travels, we want to hear from women and girls about the incredible work they’re doing in their communities. We also want to hear about their key challenges, priorities and aspirations for the future.
