Improving access to anti-discrimination laws

ERA is one of 50 signatories to the Power to Prevent submission that welcomes the Costs Protections Bill. This reform is a first for Australia in discrimination law. People will be able to bring claims of discrimination without the huge risk of having to pay the legal costs of the respondent, or their employer, if they lose. It also means that people who bring successful sexual harassment or discrimination claims will have their legal costs covered. Click here to read more.
