ERA’s Young Women’s Advisory Group (YWAG) is recruiting new members!
The Young Women’s Advisory Group (YWAG) to the Equality Rights Alliance (ERA) is a voluntary group of up to ten young women aged 16-30 from across Australia. YWAG values and amplifies young women’s voices, experiences, and expertise; we aim to bring those voices to the national policy space. ERA is Australia’s largest network advocating for women’s equality, leadership, and recognition of women’s diversity. As one of six National Women’s Alliances, ERA brings together over 60 organisations, and is auspiced by the YWCA Australia. YWAG works under this umbrella to inform ERA projects at a national level, and to direct our own projects.
YWAG is currently working on analysing data from the Let’s Talk survey project on Young Wom*n’s Experiences of Sex Education in Australia, and running their social media to platform young intersectional feminist issues and voices.
Applications close Thursday 22nd of October 2020 (12am AEST). To apply, respond to the attached Expression of Interest form and email to ERA’s Project Coordinator Romy Listo at firstname.lastname@example.org, to be considered by YWAG.
You can also email Romy for more information about YWAG, and read more about the group and current members.
