ACT Women's Grants
ACT Office for Women are now taking applications for Women's Grants. Applications close 9 December.
These grants are to fund one-off projects aimed at advancing the objectives and priorities of the ACT Women’s Plan 2010-2015 to improve the status and lives of women and girls in the ACT. Total funding in the pool is $100,000. Grants will be given for small capacity building projects up to $5,000 or for special projects up to $25,000.
Emma from ERA attended a briefing session today at the Women's Information and Referral Centre. Emma's notes are attached. Printed material provided at the brief is also available at the ACT Office for Women website, including the grant program guidelines, ACT Prevention of Violence Against Women and Children Strategy 2011-2017, and ACT Women’s Plan 2010-2015.
