Introductory executive course – Gender analysis of public policy

This course will introduce participants to key concepts and methods for gender analysis of public policy. Drawing on international best practice, the course seeks to challenge commonly held assumptions of gender neutrality and highlight where formally neutral policies have unintended differential gender impacts. Tailored for the Australian context, the course engages participants on case studies and introduces diverse data sources and analytical approaches to bring visibility to the differential gender impacts of policy, expenditure and tax.
